File reports -service

Purpose

File reports -service provides you with access to e.g. report files, pictures and other files that Schneider Electric experts have attached to your building. To view and edit most of the files in this service you need a program written by an external supplier.

Use

Browsing the files. When entering File reports -service, you can see the three latest files. You can browse the files by clicking on the arrows below them. By choosing Next you can see three older files and Previous shows three newer ones. You can see the number of the current page and the total number of pages in the brackets below the arrows.

Searching for files. The search fields can be found below the heading File reports -service. Enter your search string in the Search text -field. The search string can occur anywhere in the name of the file or report, e.g. in the middle of a word. Uppercase and lowercase are treated the same. Start the search by clicking on the Search-button. Downloading files. You can download the file to your own computer by clicking on the file name. Saving the file depends on the browser of your computer and its settings. Usually a new window will appear with the question whether you want to open or save the file. Choose save. After this you should be able to choose the directory in which you want to save the file. Once you have chosen the directory, the download should begin. Depending on the speed of your computer and the size of the file, the download may last from a few seconds to several minutes.
